Each tote bag is hand-printed using a fine art image transfer process that embeds the photograph into the fabric rather than printing it on the surface. As a result, subtle variations in tone, texture, and edge definition are a natural part of the process, making every bag unique.
The image is one of my self-portraits, originally created in 2020 as part of an exploration of solitude, and quiet.
